I know there are a few book lists that are available for the summer. The library has one and even a few of the local businesses have a book reading list with nice incentives for the children. But what if.........

What if you allowed each child to create their own book lists of books they really want to read and work with them to create an incentive that matters to them.

Challenge them to add books to the list that they haven't read yet as well as books that are different from what they would usually read. After the book list is created set goals and incentives for each goal accomplished.

Mom/Dad this activity isn't just for the children. You create a book list for yourself as well with whatever incentive you would like to set for yourself.

This is a perfect way to cultivate reading for everyone in the family.
